After lessons end for the day he is free to lend a hand around the house by going to the market and cleaning the compound or take time for himself to make paper balls and play soccer with friends. He has opportunities to learn all about Jesus at the center and in his daily prayers, he often asks God to keep his family safe. When Lameck is old enough, he intends to contribute to his community by working as a teacher.

Washing utensils, sweeping, fetching firewood, and babysitting her younger siblings are the primary ways Jemimah contributes to chores before meeting up with friends to play in the sand or settling in a quiet spot to take care of her baby dolls
